Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled IT Support Engineer with Security to join our Internal IT team. This role combines managing the company’s IT infrastructure with implementing and supporting security initiatives. You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our systems and data, working closely with the local IT team, the group IT department, and the local CISO.

You work from our Prague office with the option for an occasional home office within the Czech Republic. You will collaborate closely with our Internal IT  team and report to the Head of Windows. This role is a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration, allowing you to leave your mark on a fast-evolving infrastructure.

Your Tasks

As IT Support Engineer Security, you will:

  • Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including Windows Server OS, workstations, and office networks.
  • Provide IT support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, and Office 365 environments.
  • Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for seamless authentication across corporate tools and onboard new tools securely.
  • Oversee patch management and software updates to minimize vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with the local and group IT teams, as well as the local CISO, to steer security initiatives and implement tools and processes.

Professionally, we expect you to have

  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role, with exposure to IT security tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection tools (e.g., SentinelOne, BitLocker) and MDM solutions.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Knowledge of IT security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.

It is a plus if you have

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform 
  • Exposure to ITSM tools and ITIL best practices.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards like GDPR or NIS2
